Marching through crunchy leaves

  • At the moment leaves might not be crunchy this would be an Autumnal activity. Language to use: squishy, soggy, wet, slippery, crunchy.
  • Collect different leaves on your walks. Look at the different sizes and shapes and try to sort them. Can you put all the same colours together?
  • Watch ‘Mr. Tumble Autumn’ – BBC iPlayer: Autumn’
  • On your walks talk about the changes in the season. “What do you think has happened to the leaves on the trees?
