Child Health

Beckton & Royal Docks Children’s Centre work in partnership with the  Health Visiting Team, they offer a range of developmental clinics which include 12-16 week check, 1-year check and 2-year check.  These are appointments only and you would normally receive your letter in the post with the Ages & Stages Questionnaire.  If your child has not had these checks and is of the appropriate age please contact your Health Visiting Team for an appointment.

Please ensure that you bring your child’s Red Health Book with you.

The Health Visiting team also offer groups around healthy weight, healthy nutrition, school readiness and minor childhood illnesses.  These groups are designed to offer you the correct information as outlined by the department of health and support you at the different stages of your child’s development.   Please refer to our timetable for a full list of services.
